    Vermont Public Television

  • Sunday: At 9 p.m., "Mystery!" presents the second of two new episodes of "Foyle's War." A biological experiment goes wrong, leading to the death of a local woman. Sam becomes infected with a potentially fatal illness, and Foyle's investigation takes him into the most secret areas of World War II — research even Churchill doesn't know about.

  • Monday: At 10 p.m., the series "Simon Schama's Power of Art" continues. The renowned scholar tells the dramatic story behind a different masterpiece in each program. This week's subject is Caravaggio's "David with the Head of Goliath."

  • Wednesday: At 9 p.m., "Paul Simon: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song" celebrates the legendary musician. Among the performers who pay tribute are Art Garfunkel, Alison Krauss, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Lyle Lovett and Buckwheat Zydeco.

  • Saturday, June 30: At 10 p.m., "Austin City Limits" showcases two British stars now conquering U.S. shores. England's Corinne Bailey Rae affirms her popularity with hits from her self-titled debut. Scotland's K.T. Tunstall, who honed her art as a street musician in Burlington, demonstrates why her star is rising.
